About the Artist — Douaa Arkoub

Section 1 — Introduction

I’m Douaa Arkoub, ARB/RIBA architect, artist, and founder of DAR Art Studio, where faith, geometry, and beauty meet. 

Passionate about interior design, I merge artistic tradition with imagination to create pieces that bring depth, balance, and character to every space.

My work is inspired by the timeless principles of Islamic art: unity, rhythm, and divine order, reimagined through a modern lens.

Section 2 — My Story

Growing up in Damascus surrounded by patterns of faith and culture, I developed a deep love for geometric harmony and spiritual symbolism.
Each piece I create is a reflection of balance and serenity — a visual meditation on connection, continuity, and peace.

From my studio in the UK and Switzerland, I translate these sacred geometries into both digital and physical art prints, bringing a touch of spiritual beauty into modern spaces.

Section 3 — My Mission

Through DAR Art Studio, my goal is to make authentic Islamic-inspired art accessible to all — whether as a digital download, a fine-art print, or a personalised commission.
I believe art should not only decorate walls, but also elevate souls.
